St Ives Community Orchard has been planted for the benefit of the local wildlife and community. The aim of the project is: to create an area with a variety of different fruit trees and shrubs to enhance the biodiversity & provide wildlife habitats to involve the community in looking after the orchard create an area where everyone can enjoy the nature, get active, socialise and pick their own fruit to get the area above the orchard recognised as a nature reserve & looked after as such
What do I need to know?
St Ives Community Orchard has been planted for the benefit of the local wildlife and community. Volunteering at the Community Orchard is a great way to get outdoors, get fit, enjoy the natural world in a beautiful and tranquil location, meet new people and make a difference in your community. No experience is needed and you can work at your own pace. All skills and general help are much appreciated. New volunteers are always welcome. sunday 10:30-12pm / Tuesday 2-4pm firstname.lastname@example.org
